Vice President, Diversity & Inclusiveness, Teach for America
Amanda Fernandez is responsible for providing strategic counsel for and guiding implementation of Teach For America’s short and long-term Latino focused goals to foster a diverse and inclusive organization at all levels and operating areas. Amanda brings 20 years of experience in the areas of recruiting, diversity, organization development, learning and development and change management. These have been in both internally facing roles and externally focused consulting roles serving Fortune 500 and large non-profit clients. Her most recent experience was with The Bridgespan Group where she served as an organizational consultant to youth and education clients in support of their strategic planning efforts. She also has worked in various capacities at Deloitte an international professional services firm. She has been a frequent speaker on diversity and human capital topics. Amanda holds a master’s from Fordham University.
