Introducing Predictability with FedEx One Rate

FedEx One Rate Flat Rate Shipping Boxes.jpg Let’s face it – we could all use a little more predictability in our lives. Between work and home, most of us are operating on constant overload and don’t always have time to worry about the details. That’s why FedEx One Rate pricing is a great solution for the busy holidays and beyond – it takes many of the questions and hassles out of shipping.

FedEx One Rate shipping is all about predictability: three, constant factors that give you one price. There is no need to wonder about what the price will be or the size of your box. Just pick a FedEx Express box, a destination and a FedEx Express delivery date/time...

Caring for the Common Good: FedEx Cares Week

_P3A4167-sq.jpg I must admit: Before 2005, I was not a United Way donor.

I didn’t understand why I should if I already gave to local agencies in my community. But that year, I participated in the United Way “Loaned Executive” program, a FedEx effort that provides professional talent and leadership to help the United Way’s annual fundraising campaign. During orientation week, I visited more than a dozen nonprofits in the Mid-South that receive support from United Way.

Certainly I was aware of larger organizations with local affiliates, such as American Red Cross, but I didn’t know organizations such as...

"What are you doing for others?" - Volunteering and MLK Day

DSCN0108.JPG In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his dedication to community and service, I am here today with 35 volunteers at Food & Friends, Washington, D.C., preparing, packing and helping to delivery 3,000 meals. This election season, FedEx is proud to continue our partnership with the Overseas Vote Foundation to provide voter services for our military service members....

Pedaling Toward Hope

For the fourth year in a row, I put on my biking shoes and pedaled from Miami to Key West Florida. The beautiful weather and sandy beaches will not deter or distract me from reaching my goal.

SMART Ride 8, a FedEx sponsored event, is a two-day 165 mile South Florida bike ride that increases awareness, fights prejudice and improves education about HIV/AIDS. All pledges or 100 percent raised by participants support AIDS direct service organizations such as Broward House, Inc., Metropolitan Charities, Inc., Center for Positive Connections, AIDS Help, Miracle of Love and Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County, Inc. The SMART Ride has raised more than three million U.S. dollars over eight years. This year, the SMART Ride rose over $675,724, representing a 40 percent increase over 2010.
