p234784778-6crop.jpg Hello Race Fans! Believe it or not, another NASCAR season is here, and I have never been more excited in my career to get things started. Post your well-wishes in the Comments section below by April 22. We’ll compile and present them to Denny, including your first name, if provided. Hamlin is recovering from a back injury suffered in a last-lap crash while battling for the win at Auto Club Speedway. The vertebrae fracture will sideline Hamlin for several weeks. Veteran driver Mark Martin will substitute in Sunday’s race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Brian Vickers will pilot the #11 car thereafter, until Denny is well.

Hello FedEx Team Members!

This year marks my 8th full season representing you as the full-time driver of the #11 FedEx Toyota, and I am honored to get behind the wheel of that race car each weekend to help all FedEx team members feel the thrill of victory.

While one kind of checkered flag eluded Denny Hamlin on November 22, 2010, his efforts in another race, on November 18, earned him another kind of checkered flag in my book.

On Thursday, November 18, under all the pressures associated with the upcoming final race of the NASCAR 2010 Chase for the Sprint Cup - just four days away - Denny Hamlin chose to come out and participate in another kind of race, one associated with FedEx and our support for the American Red Cross: the Race to Prepare.
