Hello Race Fans!

Hello Race Fans!

Believe it or not, another NASCAR season is here, and I have never been more excited in my career to get things started. Our #11 FedEx team is recharged and ready to get back on track, back in the Chase and hopefully bring the championship trophy home to Joe Gibbs Racing.

Things got off to a great start last Saturday night with a win in the Sprint Unlimited. We had a fast FedEx Camry, led the most laps and won every segment. Hopefully that speed will carry over to Sunday’s Daytona 500!

The 2013 season was certainly challenging for our team. Many of you know about my back injury and missing some races, and when I returned, our performance was just not up to the level that you, or I, expect. Missing the Chase for the first time in my career was a tough pill to swallow.

However, our victory in the season finale in Miami really spring boarded the team into the off-season, and reignited our drive to be title contenders. This winter, I have been on the most rigorous training regimen of my career. I used the months off to gain strength and prepare myself for the upcoming season.

I want to thank each and every one of you for the support through a difficult 2013. Our #11 team has the best sponsor in the sport and best fans in racing. Look for us at the front of the field again this year.

See you in Victory Lane!

Good Luck this year Denny and team

Monday, 24 February Congratulations Denny!! What a race. . .the Daytona was within reach last night by less than a second. Your performance was magnificent! You and the entire Gibbs team exhibited such skill in the pits and on the track. You maneuvered the 11 car to the front of the pack and crossed the finish line in grand style. Your hard work in the off season no doubt physically prepared you for one of the most grueling days of racing in Daytona history. Your mental strength to maintain focus through 6 hours of rain delay was evidence of a true champion! We at FedEx are all very proud of you and the Gibbs support crew for your finish last night. Keep up the good work!
