Gen Y - Tell Us About Access

Gen-Y is a generation that has never been without today’s level of access to goods, information and even their friends with new social media. But the journey is never-ending. Where do these new consumers of Access see it taking us next?

For the past three years, FedEx has been talking about Access to influencers, customers, employees and other key audiences. Now we want to hear back from this Access Generation.

In order to create this dialogue, FedEx has teamed with Net Impact, a global organization of students and professionals using business to improve the world. “The Voice of the Next Generation Student Essay Contest” was launched in late November. To qualify as an eligible participant an individual must be a student in good standing, enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university (subject to participation approval by Net Impact) for the entire Access Contest period and 18 years of age or older. The winner will have their essay featured in Access Review and will also receive full registration to the 2009 Net Impact Conference. There also are cash prizes of $2,000, $1,000, and $500.

Information on the contest and registration details are available at
